This is the Board’s report on a compliance audit of Forest Licence A20218, held by Atco Lumber Ltd. The audit examined Atco’s planning and field activities for the period of July 10, 1999, to July 12, 2000, related to operational planning (including forest development plans and silviculture prescriptions); timber harvesting; road construction, maintenance and deactivation; silviculture; and fire protection.

This is the Board’s report on a compliance audit of Forest Licence A16829, held by Skeena Cellulose Inc. (Skeena). The operating area for this licence is located in the Bulkley Forest District, primarily northwest of the town of Smithers.

This is a report on a limited scope compliance audit of the Mid-Coast Forest District SBFEP. The audit examined the SBFEP’s operational planning (including forest development plans, silviculture prescriptions, and logging plans); timber harvesting; and road construction, maintenance and deactivation activities for the period of August 9, 1998, to August 31, 1999.

Before completing this report, the Board considered written representations from the Mid-Coast Forest District as required under section 182 of the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act (the Act). The Board also considered the Report from the Auditor along with supporting audit evidence.

This is a report on a compliance audit of Tree Farm Licence 42, held by Tanizul Timber Ltd. (Tanizul). TFL 42 is located north and east of Stuart Lake, south of Trembleur Lake and west of the Tachie River, in the Fort St. James Forest District.

The audit examined Tanizul’s timber harvesting, road practices, and related operational plans, for the period of June 1, 1999, to June 18, 2000. The audit assessed compliance with the Forest Practices Code of British Columbia Act and related regulations (the Code)

This is the Board’s report on a compliance audit of Tree Farm Licence 48 (TFL 48) held by Canadian Forest Products Ltd. (Canfor), Chetwynd Division. The audit examined Canfor’s operational planning (including forest development plans, silviculture prescriptions, and logging plans); timber harvesting; and road construction, maintenance and deactivation activities for the period of September 1, 1998, to September 22, 1999.
