Matthias Splittgerber, RPF, joined the Forest Practices Board in June 2021.

Matthias holds forestry degrees from a Canadian and German university and is a Registered Professional Forester (RPF). Before joining the Board, Matthias worked for a forest consultancy in the West Kootenays, and later for a professional services firm in Vancouver..

The Board conducts its work throughout British Columbia, and we respectfully acknowledge the territories of the many Indigenous Peoples who have lived on these lands since time immemorial.
