Forest Practices Board's Feedback on Draft Forest Landscape Plan and Forest Operations Plan for TFL 37

June 20, 2024

The Board, as a watchdog for forest and range practices, aims to offer constructive feedback to improve the Forest and Range Practices (FLP) framework and strengthen stewardship of public forest lands. While the Board won't review every FLP, it plans to provide input during the early stages of FLP implementation in British Columbia. This is a letter to the manager of forest landscape planning with the Board's feedback on the draft forest landscape plan and forest operations plan for the tree farm licence 37.

Please visit the BC government's site to learn more about the Tree Farm Licence 37 Forest Landscape Planning Pilot Project.

The Board conducts its work throughout British Columbia, and we respectfully acknowledge the territories of the many Indigenous Peoples who have lived on these lands since time immemorial.
